What is Intergoup ?

Intergroup is a committee comprised of one representative from each AA group in the four Lincoln districts meeting together once a month with the common goal of carrying the AA message to the alcoholic who still suffers. It functions as a partnership among all the groups in the Lincoln community to perform services common to all groups that reside in the four districts and to avoid a duplication of services and focus the manpower in the most efficient way. Intergroup has its own treasury that is financed solely by AA group donations and is used to fund the service committees to help the still suffering alcoholics. The AA groups are the Ultimate authority of Intergoup and of the service committees reporting to Intergroup.

Lincoln Intergroup meets on the last Friday of each month at Willard Community Center 1245 S. Folsom Street at 6:30 PM
